New AC / MIG power source DW300 + at the start!

The new pulse inverter
power source
DW300 + now will replace the DW300 welding power source, which already was used successfully for years for thin sheet metal in aluminum. Like its predecessor, the new DW300 + represents  the well known AC / MIG technology, a method developed by OTC, which is classified as particularly gentle for the material. In addition to thin aluminum sheets the DW300 + can be used with even thin steel sheets.

World first: robot controller controls wire drive

With the AC servo torch system OTC provides a wire in the torch, which can be directly controlled by the robot controller. The AC servo torch is virtually synonymous with an autonomous robot axis, and has response times in milliseconds. The AC servo torch can be used with any OTC inverter welding machine. The system is specifically tailored to the D-series of OTC power sources. By the way the new burner system will particularly benefit in the thin sheet metal aluminum and steel sector.

Expanded range of Servo Motors

HWP.jpgPowerful servomotors accompany new A2 Robot Series

In order to fit a 6 - or 10-ton-positioner of OTC and manage fast enough, OTC now has a servo motor series of 7 kW. With the replacement of the AX series and the introduction of the new robot series A2 to the engine power was increased by 2.5 KW. As a result, higher speeds, with much higher loads can be achieved. As a result, higher speeds, with much higher loads can be achieved.
