With the AC servo torch system OTC provides a wire in the torch, which can be directly controlled by the robot controller. The AC servo torch is virtually synonymous with an autonomous robot axis, and has response times in milliseconds. The AC servo torch can be used with any OTC inverter welding machine. The system is specifically tailored to the D-series of OTC power sources. By the way the new burner system will particularly benefit in the thin sheet metal aluminum and steel sector.

Powerful servomotors accompany new A2 Robot Series
In order to fit a 6 - or 10-ton-positioner of OTC and manage fast enough, OTC now has a servo motor series of 7 kW.
